The Labour-supporting head of Britain’s Big Lottery Fund has been forced to make a humiliating apology to David Cameron after a shouting match with a senior Conservative politician. Lottery chairman Sir Clive Booth said sorry to the Tories after claiming they would give less money to good causes than Labour does.
