Local Business Caught Up in Lottery Scam (WGHP Greensboro)
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) – A local business man is the victim of identity theft and a check scam. Brian Goodwin runs Southside Bargain Center on Thomasville Road. He said somehow, someone got the number to a company’s checking account. Goodwin said someone has printed up and mailed fake checks with the account number as part of an elaborate lottery scam.
