Danbury police warn residents of lottery scam (The News-Times)
DANBURY — City residents, beware. Danbury police are warning citizens to be on the lookout for phone calls or mailings claiming lottery winnings are coming your way. According to police, it’s probably a scam. According to a police release, the city’s detective bureau is investigating two complaints of fraud involving lottery scams.
