Lottery win in the parks (The Journal)
YEARS of effort bear fruit today with a giant lottery cash payout for parks on Tyneside. The Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund awards mean that £4.5m will go to a ribbon of historic parks which run through Newcastle.
