Woman charged for allegedly altering Cash for Life lottery ticket (CNews)
TORONTO - A woman from Toronto is facing a forgery charge for allegedly altering a Cash for Life lottery ticket. Provincial police say a woman went to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. office in Toronto on Tuesday to claim the scratch ticket valued at $675,000.

$10,000 winning lottery ticket bought in Linwood (The Lexington Dispatch)
A winning lottery ticket in Saturday’s Powerball drawing was purchased at Bill’s Truck Stop on Snider Kines Road in Linwood.No one has claimed the $10,000 prize yet for matching four of the five white balls, according to a press release from the N.C.
