11:04 a.m. Kansas Lottery Commission approves contract for Cherokee County casino (The Joplin Globe)
The Kansas Lottery Commission this morning approved a contract with Penn National Gaming for a casino in Cherokee County. The contract includes an initial infrastructure investment of $125 million plus a $25 million privilege fee to the state.
