Senate moves to privatize lottery, add casinos (Chicago Sun-Times)
SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Senate today moved to privatize the state lottery and add to the number of casinos currently allowed to pay for a $34 billion bricks-and-mortar program that also passed the chamber this afternoon.
