ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Police have charged an Asheville woman with trying to claim $1 million with an altered lottery ticket. The Asheville Citizen-Times reported that 39-year-old Michelle Gibson Ryans is charged with obtaining property by false pretense. She was arrested Tuesday night.

Kellogg’s worker won’t change much after winning $1M lottery jackpot (Lottery Post)
