TRENTON, N.J. - Here are the winning numbers selected Tuesday night in the New Jersey State Lottery:

Two convenience store clerks, arrested in a law enforcement sting and accused of redeeming winning lottery tickets for less than their real value, were ordered today to stand trial for grand theft.

Starting Tuesday night, Pennsylvania residents will see a change in the live drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery. The drawing official will press one button to pick the winning numbers for each of three games, the Daily Number, Big Four and the lottery’s newest game, Quinto.

Pennsylvania Lottery players have a new way of winning. A new game has been added to the midday and evening drawings. Quinto is a numbers game that’s similar to the Daily Number and Big Four and winners can pocket a top prize of up to $50,000.

The Lottery Pavilion may have a new home, but fairgoers made a point to find it Tuesday. It seems like every year a big Mega Millions jackpot coincides with the fair, sending people to the booth by the hundreds.

Perhaps one word would help eliminate the cutting of school budgets and would help seniors. This word is “lottery.”

Lottery ticket sales in Minnesota reached a record amount for fiscal year 2008, with $461.5 million sold, lottery officials said this afternoon.

The Pennsylvania Lottery drawing will have a new look starting Tuesday. Viewers will now see an on-screen insert of the lottery drawing official and the senior citizen witness.

MIDDLETOWN – The estimated 700,000 television viewers who tune in nightly at 6:59 p.m. to watch the live Pennsylvania Lottery drawing will see a new format starting Aug. 26.

A Wisconsin accountant says he has developed a winning lottery formula and it seems to be working. So far, he and his wife have both claimed $350,000 dollar jackpots — twice.
