Two people from Northwest North Carolina have won big prizes in the state lottery, lottery officials said yesterday.

High-dollar lottery tickets were recently sold in Dunn and Clinton and remain unclaimed, state lottery officials said Monday. Someone who bought a Powerball ticket at R&A Mini Mart in Clinton won $200,000 in Saturday’s drawing.

CARLSBAD — Two area women collected top prizes from the New Mexico Lottery last week. Carolina Rodriguez of Malaga won $70,000 playing Roadrunner Cash, while Carlsbad resident Misty Delgado claimed a $30,000 prize from a Scratcher game.
