Norfolk man wins motorcycle in Virginia Lottery game (The Virginian-Pilot)
A retired warehouse supervisor from Norfolk won one of 10 Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the Virginia Lottery’s “Live to Ride” game. Joe Gray scratched off his ticket inside the 7-Eleven at 6900 N. Military Hwy. and then asked a store clerk to check it for him, according to a news release from the Virginia Lottery.

Colorado Lottery reports record year for sales (KJCT 8 Grand Junction)
DENVER (AP) - Colorado Lottery officials say it’s been a record year for lottery sales in the state. Colorado Lottery spokeswoman Kristen Shew says sales were $505.8 million in the last fiscal year that ended June 30, up from $468 million the previous year.
